Marc Márquez has dominated MotoGP this year and so far he has only known how to win. Rúben Xaus recalled the rider’s years of ‘suffering’ and how now the dominant rider with the Desmosedici Pecco Bagnaia is unable to control it.

The former rider recalled the ordeal that Márquez went through, speaking to the Dura La Vita podcast and how with Ducati in 2024 he still had less good moments: ‘Marc spent two, three and four years suffering and the last year building and everyone was his rival because on the Gresini bike he didn’t adapt everywhere’.

Having to go through a period of transition and adaptation, while his teammate today was right on the opposite side of the barricade: ‘It was the first day he was racing on this bike, while Pecco sees him from above everything, he has spent the last few years on top of everything and in control, but now and since he started this year he turns anywhere and [his rivals] come in everywhere’.

Bagnaia has even admitted that he is considering returning to last year’s bike, in order to find the best possible sensations, and has even been beaten by Álex Márquez, precisely with the version of the bike he had in 2024.
