You mean 2018 shoes only ? Kobe protro, harden v2, pg2 only three I really liked a lot. Why nots are solid too but missing that fun factor for me. Zoom zero also solid hoop shoe even though designed for tennis

You know, I’ve done a few rounds of sneaker purges over the years, and can’t think of any pairs I regret letting go. Maybe if I looked back at pictures there’d be one or two, but in general, I think it’s almost always a good idea. At least for me, my tastes change. Or like maybe I was trying to collect a certain signature line or whatever, but the line went downhill or fizzled out or for whatever reason I cooled on it. Usually end up just feeling lighter after getting rid of stuff.

It’s a little slappy and sloppy overall. Too much forefoot movement and just never got one to one for me . I do like the the looks as well but it was chopping block time so I let them go loo

Never hooped in ’em but I feel like I could identify pretty much all of the issues/flaws you point out just from walking around in them. That’s not to take away from your review at all, more just to say that the shoe’s problems are pretty glaring. The heel cushioning pods are a joke. And to make matters worse, with age, they now squeak when I walk. Hahaha! The forefoot fit does feel a little baggy, especially on the suede pair. Good call on vents that don’t ventilate… laughable. The materials and quilted lining are indeed nice, though. And I’m not surprised that the traction is good. I imagine the flat shape of the outsole (excluding the pods) helps with traction but I’m wondering about the downside, especially where the edge of the medial forefoot looks pretty sharp—does it make for slappy footstrikes on lateral moves?

I really enjoy reading your reviews of older models. Make me reminisce about some of the models I used to own and makes me think about the ones I passed on.
