After almost three years of absence, KYMCO is once again investing in one of the most iconic models in its history: the Super Dink 125. A best-seller in Spain in 2010 and 2014, this premium GT scooter returns with an improved version, focusing on safety and comfort for urban riding. With a refreshed design and cutting-edge technology, the new Super Dink GT 125 aims to once again captivate motorcyclists seeking a balance between performance, reliability, and affordability.

The Super Dink 125 became a phenomenon due to its robustness, excellent price-quality ratio, and versatility for daily use. Ernesto Ko, CEO of KYMCO Spain, highlights the significance of this comeback: “We are continuing one of KYMCO’s most iconic models. Beyond its emotional value, the true reason for its return lies in the technological innovations that enhance urban riding safety.”

With the introduction of new safety features and advanced technology, KYMCO aims to maintain its leading position in the premium GT scooter segment.

One of the key innovations of the new Super Dink GT 125 is the introduction of the Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) system, which makes the brake lights flash in the event of sudden braking at speeds above 50 km/h. This system, common in cars but rare in 125cc scooters, significantly reduces the risk of rear-end collisions.

Additionally, the model is equipped with Bosch’s latest-generation ABS, ensuring greater stability during sudden braking, and a traction control system (TCS)—a feature previously reserved only for the 350cc version. These advancements enhance safety and rider confidence, especially in urban environments.

Beyond safety, KYMCO has also focused on convenience and efficiency. The keyless start system offers greater practicality in daily use, while the new full LED lighting improves visibility and night-time safety. The digital instrument panel has been redesigned, now featuring a floating color display that is intuitive and easy to read.

In terms of performance, the Super Dink GT 125 is equipped with a 4-valve, 12.7 hp engine, which is more efficient and economical, allowing for an impressive 463 km range per tank. The athletic and modern design, with sharp, aggressive lines, maintains the model’s identity while giving it a more contemporary look. Storage space under the seat remains one of its strong points, offering enough room for two full-face helmets.

The KYMCO Super Dink GT 125 arrives with the mission of reinforcing the legacy of one of the brand’s best-selling scooters. With a range of improvements spanning from safety to energy efficiency—without compromising comfort and design—the model is set to remain a benchmark in the premium GT segment. For urban scooter enthusiasts who value technology, safety, and performance, this comeback is sure to be warmly welcomed.
